CINQUE ROOMS is the first Italian street hotel, born from a new concept of hospitality. Located in San Zeno, the most characteristic neighborhood in the city center, just a few steps from the Arena, the historic center, and the major shopping streets.
The hotel has been designed, furnished and opened in summer 2014, located on the ground floor of “Palazzo Portichetti”, where a butcher shop used to be. Cinque concept sees the collaboration of Giancarlo Perbellini, a Michelin-starred chef and well-known hospitality expert Marco Pigot. Cinque, as the name itself, is composed of 5 each one different yet unique in style, have been designed down to the last detail to provide guests with luxurious, modern and elegant comfort: Mr. Gray, Mr. Pink, Mr. Purple and Mr. Blue. The last one, the Suite, is named Mr. White.
The street hotel concept is relatively new and a very interesting one. There is no reception area because the whole street hotel concept consists in having direct access from the street, with guests entering their rooms freely without going through a reception area. Two of the rooms, Mr. Blue and Mr. Purple have doors on the sidewalk, giving guests absolute privacy in their rooms. A very well-balanced breakfast is served in each room on a previously scheduled hour for the guests’ comfort and pleasure.

Il Palagio at Four Seasons
Welcome to IL PALAGIO at Four Seasons, a contribute to the city of stunning architecture, Firenze. Il Palagio is situated on the ground floor of the Palazzo della Gherardesca. Going along with the Chef’s fantasy, the menu of Cibreo Restaurant basically follows the rhythm of the seasons. While transitioning throughout Winter, Springtime, Summer and Fall and slightly the menu changes each month, each week, each day.
Since September 8th, 1979, Cibreo embraces their shepherds and their cheeses, the butchers and their meats, the pasta makers from Puglia region, Florentine olive pressers, producers of Sicilian lemons, “Clementini” tangerines growers from Calabria and truffle diggers from San Miniato and Piedmont. The oregano provided by Francesca from Pantelleria is their “most ancient” supplier together with many wine producers that follow and constantly inspire their work.

Il Santo Bevitore
Considered to be one of Florence’s best restaurants, Il Santo Bevitore provides the best quality of food, a vast selection of wines as well as an inviting atmosphere with a very cosmopolitan touch to it. Childhood friends who grew up together in the Oltrarno, nurturing a passion for good food through their teenage years, owners Marco and Martina Baldesi and Stefano Sebastiani (all of which have full-time jobs!) serve Mediterranean-inspired, locally-sourced and seasonal menus that change every three months.
Chef Luca Marin keeps an eye out for quality while supporting the neighborhood’s economy. They get their fresh fruit and vegetables from greengrocers in the Santo Spirito and San Frediano areas and every ingredient used in the kitchen is hand-picked from high-quality artisan food producers from across Italy. Examples of this are their delicious pecorino cheeses from Tuscany and Sardinia and their mouthwatering salamis from the Bottega of a small, artisanal producer in Gubbio, Umbria. Their cellar boasts over 200 different wines, mostly from Tuscany and the rest of Italy and also France.
When the owners opened the eatery 14 years ago, they asked a group of their friends to help clean the storefront, paint the walls and turn the grimy interior into a real restaurant. It has maintained the same simple yet elegant decor since its beginning which is made up of dark wood tables and paper placemats.
Grand Hotel Savoia
