Today, we want to share with you some images of the fantastic agravic stone table by Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka, a truly innovative piece that has the power to amaze us!
The agravic stone table by Tokujin Yoshioka
Tokujin Yoshioka established his own design studio in the year 2000. Since then, he has been created some famous pieces like the paper chair “Honey-pop, the “PANE chair” and has collaborated with Swarovski.in various occasions. Mr Yoshioka designed the brand’s store in Ginza (Japan).
His work has been displayed in the most prestigious museums across the world. Today, you can see Tokujin Yoshioka’s designs at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, Centre National d’Art et de Culture Georges Pompidou, Victoria and Albert Museum, Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum and Vitra Design Museum.
This is an artist that can make astonishing things, just like the agravic stone table!
The marble table that appears to be floating is balanced between two vertical acrylic bands, creating the sensation of floating.
This is one more outstanding project by Tokujin Yoshioka! You really have to appreciate it!
